Hiya, I'm really glad I have found this info. Nowadays bloggers publish just about gossip and net stuff and this is actually frustrating. A good site with exciting content, that is what I need. Thank you for making this site, and I will be visiting again. Do you do newsletters? I Cant find it.

I am very happy to read this. This is the type of details that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that is at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this greatest doc.

Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos of the Papeete, Tahiti Mission. My father, E. Bentley Mitchell, Jr. was the mission president in 1945-49. I was not born until 1950. Daddy died in 1959 and seeing these photos of him and my family is a bit of heaven for me! Suzanne

Jim, thank you for sharing this on the internet. The first thing my companion had me do on my first assignment in Haumi, Moorea, was to lead the music. I was blessed to have been called to serve with such wonderful people. My mission president was Hiro's good friend, Tom Stone. I remember Hiro quite well. He was a good man, as was his father, Tauapiti.

My sisters, Marva and Vera accompanied our parents, Kenneth R Stevens and Iona B Stevens to preside over the Tahitian Mission from August 1938 to July 1940. We are in photo number 625, our first passport photo. My father has written an extensive biography of his life that included his first mission in 1920 to 1923. My mother kept a daily diary of mission happenings. These two writings have been placed on CDs with many pictures. We've enjoyed looking at the photos that are currently on this web site.

Merci
